Romeo and Juliet

In feuding Renaissance Verona, Romeo of the House of Montague falls instantly in love with Juliet of the House of Capulet after meeting her at her family's masked ball, despite their families' sworn enmity. The two marry in secret with the help of Friar Laurence, but when Romeo kills Juliet's cousin Tybalt in revenge for the death of his friend Mercutio, he is banished from Verona. To escape a forced marriage to Paris, Juliet fakes her own death with a sleeping potion arranged by the Friar; Romeo, not receiving word of the plan in time, believes her truly dead and takes poison at her tomb, and Juliet, waking to find him dead, takes her own life - their deaths finally reconciling the two warring families.
